Genereal Changes to Disneyland Resort

CENTRAL PLAZA

A NEW NIGHTTIME SPECTACULAR FOR DISNEYLAND RESORT

No day at a theme park is completely without a grand finale to top it off, and WestCOT is no exception! Every night, guests gather in front of Spacestation Earth for the spectacular nighttime show- The Seven Wonders of WestCOT. Using projection, glowing, laser, and other light-based effects off of the Spacestation Earth globe, this show celebrates unity and what mankind can accomplish, much like the overall theme of the park. It surely will be a show that encaptures what WestCOT is all about and creates memories that will last long after the end of your Disneyland Resort Vacation.

The Grand discovery Hotel

Discovery Hotel is one of the most interesting hotels on property. It is not only the gateway to WestCOT Center with guests passing right under the building to enter, but it also embodies the entire theme of Discovery World. With it's steampunk design and inspirational theme of progress, this is unlike any other place to stay in all of California. This hotel is complete with 480 rooms; deluxe studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom, with the option of either Downtown Disney view, Disneyland Park view or WestCOT Center view. In addition, the rooms are divided into three themes depending on the wing of the hotel it is located in. The themes are based off of the Discovery World pavilions, being Human, Nature, and Technology/Science. This hotel includes many amenities, from indoor tennis courts, workout room, arcade, and large pool. A stay here is for sure to convince you that the intelligence, creativity, and ability of mankind is one of the most powerful things in the world!

World ShowCase Hotel

Like the Discovery Hotel, World Showcase Hotel represents a large part of WestCOT. However, instead of Discovery World, this hotel of course features the World Showcase. Located inside and behind the park itself, the World Showcase is divided up into four wings; Africa, Asia, Europe, and The Americas. Depending on which wing your room is in, it will have specific authentic theming to that region, and with it being located right next to and inside the park, you can look out your window, see the beautifully themed landscape, and feel like your'e right there! Rooms are available in Deluxe Studio, One Bedroom, 2 Bedroom, and Deluxe Embassy Suite. In addition, like the Grand Discovery Hotel, there are many wonderful amenities including an arcade, tennis courts, pools, and numerous wonderful dining options. Book your stay now by calling the number at the bottom of your screen!

BueNA VISTA BOARDWALK

Located in between The Disneyland Hotel and Central Plaza, the new Buena Vista Boardwalk area captures the pulse of a Northeastern Boardwalk, with the charm of 1920s Los Angeles.

Get into the beat of live music at the House of Blues, or participate in the family dance party outside the World of Disney store! Ride Triton's Carousel or Ghetto's Puppet Spin, a chair swing ride. Both attractions cost separately and booths can be found to pay for tickets nearby.

Adventure through great shops such as the LEGO Imagination Center or the fun of Build-A-Bear Workshop. Get a custom bat at the ESPN shop or find your new favorite CD at the Virgin Entertainment Store.

The kids will love the World of Disney, a shopping wonderland that is the largest shop on Disneyland Property!

Once you've worked up an appetite, you can dine at Earl of the Sandwhich - plus Ghiradelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate shop, Rainforest Cafe, and ESPN Zone . Sizzle with the taste of Southern California at Steakhouse 55, or the flavors of Northern California at Napa Rose.

High above the Shopping and Dining village, Touchstone Terrace, a sister entertainment village to Pleasure Island on the East Coast, hosts nighttime fun, where Mom and Dad get to experience different clubs based on hit Touchstone Films such as Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Splash, The Rocketeer, and many more!
